Assam Regimental Centre

The Assam regimental centre is an infantry regiment of the Indian Army which consists of 25 battalions recruiting exclusively from all the eight northeastern states of India. There onwards, the area of Elephant falls in Shillong was chosen to raise the first battalion and it was there. The venue is located in Happy Valley, Shillong, Meghalaya.
