The Games Organising Committee, chaired by the Honourable Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Shri Conrad Sangma, welcomes the people of the state to get involved in the North East Olympic Games 2022, and volunteer their time to contribute to the success of the event!
A tradition across all world class games, the objective is to have the people of the Meghalaya experience the scale of the event, and to feel a sense of belonging within the Sporting Ecosystem that state has to offer.
Together we can ensure that the Games are remembered not only as a great sporting event, but also a means for ensuring that many more opportunities are created in North East India for sport in the community. The North East Olympic Games 2022 will leave behind a strong and lasting legacy. This will not only be in the form of sporting venues and infrastructure, but also how all of us experience the power of sport to unite us and aspire for a better tomorrow.
